22 DAYS AND COUNTING!
These photos are very bad.....it makes it look small and much darker than it really is...but I don't care because in 22days we move in and I can take proper photos of it! And we will have WIFI and Air conditioning........swoon.....I seriously CANNOT wait to move!
One of the best things is the lime green wall in the kitchen...you can kind of see it...

Work Summer Partay!

This is the email about our summer partay...
Full Day TRI-ACTION Programme
30 Minute power boat ride: For 30 mins, grps of 10 people get to enjoy the thrill of a twin motored power boat ride along the rugged Costa Brava coast line. The boats will hug the coast, and will explore a cave deep in the cliffs. (we can also go swimming off the boat in a cove)
01 Hour Quad ride: The group will adventure through the Tossa Mountains on powerful quad bikes, following a trail that will expose some beautiful views and panoramas. (boo I can't drive the quad....have to go shotgun..)
01 / 02 hr paintball adventure: Playing on the most prestigious and award winning mountain & forest battle field in Spain, the group can relieve all there frustrations by paint-balling each other to kingdom come. Becoming one with the forest, I am sure that everyone knows at least one line from "Rambo"!!!
Typical Catalan BBQ: Including all food & drink (will have to check how much drink!), a French chef will cook for us and feed us. (PAELLA!)
So needless to say I am really looking forward to this!
I bought conversey style runners for the event, PINK ones...not sure if they're like unas...they were a mere tenner so happy out.
Ha ha and we're meeting at the statue of COLON! I swear its this huge statue at the bottom of the ramblas....and ha ha they had this ceremony where they married this statue (its columbus on the top) to the STATUE OF LIBERTY on Valentines day.......
so pah ha the statue of liberty is married to a giant colon...........tee hee makes me laugh so much....oooh will try get a photo of it... yay here it is.......I rock at this blogging malarky.

Session in Cortemilia

This is Killian and Fionn in Cortemilia at the biggest and most fun wine drinking session ever...The dudes had many a jam and they were so so deadly, everyone at the party was blown away..twas a perfect week.

Miss Ban is everywhere in Raval....we went to an exhibition of the stuff too....you could buy bags and tops and all delightful things but sniff I was too broke to buy any of em...

the street where I live

This is Calle Carmen or Carrer del Carme in Catalan.
It's a nice street, the chinese shop that sells EVERYTHING really cheap, a few shops that sell huge knives, between them shops that sell lace and doilies........Dia store (if its good enough for god its good enough for me) hmmmmm what else.....oh yeah a big big church on the corner.
The street seems to be full of loopers or chicos picardos......every week there's a different incident....one morning a woman threw bread at us like we were ducks in a pond.....and followed us all the way down the street.
I like this street but on August 30th we move to Calle Ferlandina!
